Last week we met Devonté Hynes bka Blood Orange in his Brooklyn apartment, where the affable and angelically white-dressed one-man band seemed to float his way past Peanuts ephemera, a piano and a “not so adult” drum machine. Not pictured: an impressive collection of secondhand books, including the biography of gay porn star Joey Stefano, Wonder Bread and Ecstasy, which he recommended in particular.
